Uncle Rich, I hope you are at rest and peace in the arms of God and can be able to see all of the amazing nature that you once loved in Heaven again. I wish I could see you more and spend more time with you. I’m so glad that the last memory I had of you was last summer at Chuck’s funeral and the second you put the fishing line in the water, you reeled it in and caught a bass, kissed it, and threw it back in the water. Until we meet again, uncle Richard!

Uncle Rich, you will truly be missed! I’m so grateful we had the visit to Ludington this past June to visit. We enjoyed the visit , the adventure around town, the dinners and I was so happy to kick butt playing 3 handed euchre with you and Craig
May you rest in peace and may God wrap his arms around all your loved ones with all the happy memories in life and we hope to meet again. Love you, Geri

Uncle Rich, Not much time has gone by since you left us for the great fishing hole in heaven. I will never forget you and will always cherish the great times we had together. You started me off at a very young age by taking me camping to camp in a tent, pick strawberries, look for wild mushrooms and fish. Later you taught me how to fish and hunt and appreciate the outdoors. In many aspects you made me a better person by teaching me to appreciate what God has given us. I will always miss the fishing trips we shared along with the conversations about life, sports, the outdoors and once in a while politics. I will miss the many times you went the extra mile to ensure I had a good tree stand for my trips to our favorite hunting spots for which most times I was successful. I will miss the many games of euchre and pool we competed against each other and in most cases I had to buy the next pitcher of beer. I will miss the fantastic dinners you made especially the pizza, kaposztas testzta, chicken paprikash, fresh heart and liver and my best of all, fresh sulfur shelf mushrooms you picked from your woods. I will miss the fish fries at the American Legion you helped cook. I will miss the many phone calls criticizing the Detroit Lions on how they can’t capitalize in the red zone and how they always lose in the last quarter. I will miss how we would argue when you would accuse all sports of being fixed. I have been sad that you left so early as we still had many aspirations on our bucket lists to share, but every day I pray that you are in a better place and you have found the ultimate fishing hole and hunting spot. Not only are you a fantastic uncle, but a great friend as well. I truly thank you for everything you have done for me and cherish the time we have spent together and hopefully you and I will be trolling in the ultimate lake again. Love you Uncle Rich, Craig
