Maureen, Bill, and other family members,
I just wanted you to know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers. Dick was one of the most fun and interesting people that I've had the pleasure to work with. I feel blessed that I had the honor of working with your generous family this past Christmas. And happy that my children got to meet Santa this year. Dick giving me the photographer job was the reason I could give my kids such a nice Christmas. Thank you.

My Uncle Dick was the best! He had a heart of gold, always had a smile for you and a good joke! I loved him with all my heart and I'll miss him terribly.

When I was a little girl, my mom, sister and I would go to the country to visit him. I'd fall asleep during the ride. I loved waking up in his arms as he was carrying me in the house. Since my dad wasn't around, my Uncle Dick was my only positive male role model and I idolized him. He let me work on the farm with him and go for errands in the truck and we'd talk about everything in life. He gave me a lot of advice and I will cherish my memories forever!

The Plummer Family;
I wanted to see Santa 3 years ago. In December of 2007, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Last year I was determined to get my picture taken with Santa. I was first in line. We talked for several minutes. I told him of my health situation, and he told me of his. I told him that I believed Santa was Jesus, because of his love for all, especially children. I told Santa I would pray for him. And I have, every night since I had that special moment with him. I will continue to pray for all of you. I know Santa is in heaven. I have no doubts. I am a 51 year old woman who loves Christmas, and totally believes in Santa Claus. And I am so happy that I have my picture of Santa and Rudolph. I will treasure it, and the memory of how kind and loving Santa was to me. God bless all of you.

I did not know Mr. Plummer personally, only as "Santa". Christmastime was magical because of him. Our daughter loved coming to see Santa and the reindeer. Please accept my heartfelt sympathy in your loss. What a nice gentleman he was, he will be missed greatly.

We are very sorry for the loss of your loved one. He is going to be missed by many. I didn't know any of you personally but wanted you to know that he was the best Santa ever. My son, 5 years old, in the past would not even walk near a mall santa but this past Christmas we brought him to Santa's Place and without hesitating he went right up to him and started talking. I am so thankful that I got many pictures of that day and thanful that he was able to give us that memory. He did have that santa twinkle in his eyes. We will cherish those pictures forever, as he was the only Santa that our son would go near. Your family will be in the thoughts and prayers of many and especially when the holidays near.

Aunt Maureen, and family,
There are no words to describe how missed Uncle Dick will be. He was truly a legacy in our family and community! The many lives that he graced with his sense of humor, love, and of course being “Santa’ is immense. There was always a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye that will be carried on forever.
We now have a “santa” angel that will ensure every Christmas is perfect as well as the whole year through.

All that knew him were blessed. We pray for his family in their time of sorrow.
