Robert W. "Bob" Kilstrom

KILSTROM, Robert W. (Bob) Passed away September 12, 2001 at home in Santa Rosa at the age of 65. Bob was born in Chicago and moved with his family to Sonoma County 60 years ago. Bob served his country in the US Army. After being Honorably Discharged from the service, Bob became a cement mason and was a member of the Local #300 Union for 32 years. He was a talented woodworker and had a gift that would allow him to take a discarded piece of wood and transform it into a thing of beauty. In his retirement Bob enjoyed fishing and playing dominos daily with his friends. Bob was a fun loving father to all his children and grandchildren. Bob is survived by his wife Mary Kilstrom of Santa Rosa; stepmother Ruth Kilstrom and step sister Kathy Barr both of Lampasas, TX; sons Robert Jr. and Ronald Kilstrom of Santa Rosa; daughters Melissa of Guerneville and Paulette of Ukiah; and 10 wonderful grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Sunday, September 23, 2001 at 2:00 p.m. at PLEASANT HILLS MEMORIAL PARK with inurnment to follow in the Veteran’s Section. Arrangements under the direction of PLEASANT HILLS MEMORIAL PARK & MORTUARY, SEBASTOPOL.
