I was sadden to hear of your loss and the loss to our community. I worked as Bob's secretary back in 1978. He was an amazing, kind and compassionate Supervisor. He was like a father to all of us. Giving us support and advice. You are a legend, Mr. Lorenzen. I will remember all the wise advice you gave me. Another star is lit in heaven. You will be missed.

Bob was always like a big brother to me and was always very
special. We always looked forward to him and Colette visiting
us on the island and I loved his sense of humor and will miss that. Heaven has gained another angel. My love Phyllis Lorenzen

It's been far too long since I saw Uncle Bob Last. I always think of him when I make home made waffles in my "belgium" waffle iron he got me many years ago when I got married. He said he loved waffles and that's why he got it for me. "Just like your grandpa did" he said. He was loved by so many and will be missed by so many more.

My thought and prayers are with the family of Bob Lorenzen. He was a 'long-time' family friend. My siblings and I 'grew up' with his kids. I have many fond memories of our families being together. He was caring, compassionate,
and an exceptional listener.

In the 1980's Bob and I were Supervisors for DES. Bob was dedicated to the clients we served but also loyal and compassionate to the Workers who worked with him. Your family can be so proud of him as I am to have been able to serve with him.

I have admired and respected you in the twenty years that I have known you. I will miss your sense of humor and the
many stories you told. I will never forget you telling me that you loved me at the hospice and I will never forget that love.

I have known Bob for over twenty years. As the years passed by, Bob became more my father instead of my father-in-law. I'm going to miss him very much.

He was truly a great man. He was very compassionate, concerned, and a kind person. Thank you Dad for giving me a great life and being the best father ever.

Mr. Lorenzen I met you only once at your daughter's wedding (Linda)in Grand Canyon National Park and wished that I could have gotten to know you better. During our short conversations I learned that you had attended the same college/university as I did (now St. Cloud State University in Minnesota) that we were both born on 6 October and that we were both U.S. military veterans. I am glad that you had a good and long life and hope that your next journey is even better. Dr. David

Uncle Bob was a really terrific human being. We loved to hear all his stories. He really had a way with words. When he spoke, you listened. His eyes always had that little smile, that made you happy. He will be greatly missed, and we loved him very much.
