MONROE - Robert A. of South Yarmouth, July 16th at the age of 82. Son of the late Robert A. and Gladys L. (Holbrook) Monroe. Former husband of Louise (Finch) Monroe of South Yarmouth; father of Karen Charlonne of Mashpee, Sheila Newcombe of Glenwood City, WI and Guy Monroe of Las Vegas, NV. Grandfather of Jamie Charlonne, Lauren Pust, Rebecca Doornink, David Newcombe, Daniel Newcombe and Jonathan Newcombe. He is also survived by six great grandchildren and a cousin Donald Holbrook. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Morris & O'Connor Funeral Home, 58 Long Pond Drive, South Yarmouth, MA on Wednesday July 19, 2006 from 5-8pm. A Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 PM. Interment will be private. Donations in his memory may be made to Parkinson's Disease Foundation, 1359 Broadway, New York, New York, 10018 or South Yarmouth United Methodist Church, 322 Old Main Street, South Yarmouth, MA 02664.
