I first met Red Nelson when I transferred to Denver in 1976, as a member of the FBINAA, and over the years enjoyed Red as a law enforcement colleague and friend. Red was a true law enforcement professional and gentleman. Rest In Peace with Jesus, Red! David&Shirlee McAllister, U.S. Park Police (ret.)

I recently learned of Bob's passing through my aunt Beverly who attended the services. My family lived next door to Bob and Barb for many years. I am so sorry to hear of his passing - he was a great fellow and a great neighbor. As a child, I always thought it was cool that he worked for the FBI! My heartfelt condolences to Chris, Joe, Mary, Annie and Tom.

We were blessed with the greatest Irish family any one could ever hope for. Grandparents, aunts and uncles loved us unconditionally and helped us grow up with the most amazing role models. My Uncle Buck was the last of that generation and I am forever grateful for the love and truly great wisdom he shared with all of us. Rest In Peace Uncle Buck. You will be so missed by so many.

Robert "Uncle Buck" Nelson was not only a loving Godfather and uncle, he was a great source of pride and a role model to my brother and I. He will be greatly missed. I fondly remember his nicknames for me, "Stretch" and "Peaches".
Prayers and love to the Nelson family and all blessed to know Robert.
