p>Robert S. “Butch” Tayvinsky, 68, of Vineland, N.J. passed away on Sunday evening surrounded by his family in the Cooper Hospital U.M.C., Camden, N.J. Butch was born and raised in Millville and had lived in Sea Breeze before moving to Vineland in 1957. He was the son of the late Estell (Likanchuk) and Chester Tayvinsky. He was also predeceased by two sisters, Irene Ross and Eleanor DeLuca.

Butch retired from Penn Jersey Concrete in Pitman, N.J., where he was employed as a truck driver for 23 yrs. He was a member of the Teamsters Union Local #676. In his early years he worked as a farmer and also for Jake Ackerman Excavating. Butch served in the N.J. National Guard and was a member of the American Legion and Semper Fi Marine Corps League. He enjoyed working in his garden, farming but most of all, he enjoyed being with his family and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 49 yrs., Carol M. (Nelson); two sons, Robert Jr. and wife Teresa, Laurel Lake, George and Carrie, Pittsburgh, Pa.; three daughters: Sandra York and husband Norman, Laurel Lake, Patty Gross and husband Gordon, Leesburg, Brenda Gross and husband Jeffrey, Dorchester; 6 grandchildren and one great grandson; two brothers, Chester and wife Veronica Tayvinsky, Vld., Thomas and wife Helga Tayvinsky, Germany.

His funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday in the PANCOAST FUNERAL HOME, 676 S. Main Rd., Vineland, N.J. with burial to follow in the Marlboro 7th Day Baptist Church Cemetery.

Relatives and friends will be received on Thursday evening from 7-9 p.m. and again on Friday from 10-11 a.m. at the PANCOAST FUNERAL HOME.
