Rolf and I lived at Windsor Estates apartments in Hazel Dell, Vancouver Washington, as neighbors, for about 8 years . We had some casual conversation over the years, about where we were from, like him from CA &; Seattle & me from Portland. Then our kind of work we did.

Rolf was a great friend and person. I was blessed by his friendship since 1974. He was like the big brother I never had. Rolf is loved and very missed. RIP Rolf.

As a co-worker of Hank's (Standard Oil/Seattle days) I want to add my condolences to the family on Rolf's passing. Hank often rode with me from downtown to West Seattle, where I also lived. Lyle Vogelpohl

Ted and I have known Rolf since the seventies working at Micropump. I later returned to Micropump in 2005. Rolf and I had often worked side by side talking about the old days especially about Clayton Valley Bowl. I was very sadden by the loss. Taken far too soon. Condolences to Paul, Mary, and Louise.

My sincere condolences to Rolf's family and friends. I was Rolf's manager at Micropump since November of last year. While I had not known Rolf for very long, I appreciated his laughter when we would chat, and the dedication and pride he showed in his work. He will be missed!

I will miss you my friend and forever remember fishing and camping in all those lakes and rivers, playing basketball and listening to music in that garage converted room when we were young. Seeing you cruise on your Honda motorcycle up and down Clayton Rd. See you again one day Rolf...

I will miss you my big brother, especially on Sundays when we would chat about local events happening in our areas and what was going on in our lives. When I hear The Beatles, Cream and Jimi Hendrix, I will be thinking of you.
