Ronald R. Morello (Ron) 82, of Punta Gorda, Fl., passed away on November 2, 2022 after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease. After retiring from Bethlehem Steel Corp. he and his wife Pauline made Punta Gorda Florida their home. A veteran of the U.S Army and a graduate of Liberty High School and Moravian College of Bethlehem, Pa., he loved boating ( but sailing was his passion) he became a licensed Captain of the U.S. Coast Guard U.S. Merchant Marines which his wife Pauline was very proud of.

Ron is survived by his children, daughter Brynn Skinner and her husband Mike of Punta Gorda Fl., son Jon J. Morello, his wife Lisa of Whitehall Pa. daughter Trayce Greber of Northampton Pa., his sister Theresa Collins of Bethlehem, Pa., brother Joseph Maioriello and wife Shirley of Goose Creek, SC. Also 5 grandchildren: Chad Traugher, Jeremiah Morello, Ashley Shortell, Joseph Greber and Chelsea Greber and 1 great grandchild Josiah (JJ) Morello and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his loving wife Pauline M (Gilbert) Morello, his parents Joseph Maioriello, Agnes Lou Lou Maioriello, and his sister Philamina Hittinger.

A memorial service TBA.

I´m so sad for all of you. Jack and Ron were best of friends through high school, and through life. When Pauline and Ron married, we shared many good times, sailing, evenings at each other´s homes, laughing and sharing stories. Good times. Many good times. He will be missed. The memories are a comfort.
