MITCHELL - Ronald B. Steinle, 65, died Sunday, July 20, 2008, at his home in Mitchell.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation was held at Sunset Memorial Park Crematory. Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
Ron was born August 17, 1942 to Ben and Ester Steinle in Ellsworth, Kan. He came to Scottsbluff in 1962 to drive truck for L. E. Harding. He was an owner–operator for a number of years.
He married Jane Ewing, September 8, 1963 in Gering. Ron was an outside salesman for Briggs Pump and Well Supply for 12 years, owned the Lot Lube Service in Gering for 6 years and then owned Dad's Bar and Grill in Mitchell until his death.
Ron enjoyed hunting, fishing, football and NASCAR.
Survivors include his special friend, Connie Osborn; sons, Jay Steinle and his daughter Paige of Mitchell, and Jeff (Tami) Steinle and their children Whitney, Jordan and Beau of Jacksonville, Fla.; grandson, Seth Popp of Gering; sister, Verna (Bob) McGlinn of Lindsey, Okla.; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Jean and LeRoy Cooper and brother-in-law John Ewing all of Gering.
He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter Jennifer Popp.
