Rose Marie Wrobel Holt, MI Age 76, went to be with the Lord, Friday, March 7, 2008. Rose was born, May 24, 1931 in Romulus, Michigan the daughter of Thomas and Genevieve (Klotz) Glowacki. A Lansing resident since 1955, Rose was a member of St. James Catholic Church. Rose taught CCD for 37 years at various Catholic parishes. She was past president of the Polish Falcons of America (PFA) and Legion of Mary. She was a member of the Polish Roman Catholic Union and Orchard Lake Auxiliary. Rose was extremely proud of her Polish heritage and was a PFA dance and gym instructor. Rose retired from General Motors after 30 years of service. A loving wife, sister, aunt and friend will be dearly missed by all. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Thomas Glowacki Jr.; and sister, Dolores Rose. Rose is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Bill; siblings, Bobby (Joyce) Glowacki, Frank (Jeanie) Glowacki and Nancy (Roger) Grey; and many nieces and nephews. Celebration of the Funeral Mass will be Monday, March 10, 2008, 11 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. Alan Wakefield and the Rev. Fr. Stanislaus Czarnota as concelebrants. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends, Saturday, March 8, 2008, from 6-8 p.m. and Sunday, March 9, 2008, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Palmer, Bush & Jensen Family Funeral Home, Holt Chapel where a Rosary will be prayed at 6:30 p.m, Sunday evening. Memorial contributions can be made to St. James Catholic Church in memory of Rose. Condolences can be sent to the family at www.palmerbush.com.
