Rubye Hadley Obituary
RUBYE PATTON
Age 96, of Pittsburgh, PA on Thursday, December 9, 2004, at Ridgepointe Assisted Living Residence, formerly of White Oak, PA. She was born May 3, 1908 in Paducah, KY and was the daughter of the late Andrew and Maggie Lee Patton. Her husband, Dr. Matthew R. Hadley, preceded her in death. Mrs. Hadley was a former registered nurse at the Homer G. Phillips Hospital, St. Louis, MO, member of the McKeesport Academy of Medical Auxiliary, Archousa of Sigma Pi Phi and a former Northeasterner. Mrs. Hadley graduated from Duquesne University School of Nursing in 1939. She was a gracious and charming person who loved entertaining, traveling, gardening, music and dancing. Surviving are her God-daughter, Judge Cynthia Baldwin of White Oak, PA and cousins. Friends will be received Thursday December 16, one hour prior to the 11 a.m. service at ROBERT A. WATERS FUNERAL HOME, 2326 Jenny Lind Street, McKeesport, PA with the Rev. Earlene Coleman officiating. Interment will follow in the McKeesport and Versailles Cemetery, McKeesport, PA.
