Rudolph F. Kirchgassner Jr. SURF CITY - Rudolph F. "Rudy" Kirchgassner Jr., 90, formerly of the Cramer Hill section of Camden, died Sunday. He was the beloved husband of Frances C. (nee Saunders); devoted father of Francine and her husband Peter Kulbacki, Sharlene Lamon, Kathleen and her husband Robert Reeve, and Maureen and her husband George Mihalek; dear brother of Peggy and her husband Edward English, and brother-in-law of John Saunders and his wife Jo; loving grandfather of 13; great-grandfather of 16; and great-great-grandfather of one. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Kirchgassner was employed by New York Shipyards in Camden for 30 years and then by J J Henry Naval Architecture for 15 years. He was also the co-owner of the Pavonia House on River Road in Camden. Rudy was an avid fisherman and a member of the Merchantville Fishing Club for many years. Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation and funeral Saturday from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Falco, Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 North Browning Road. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. at the Church of St. Anthony of Padua, 28th and River Avenues in Camden. Entombment will be in Calvary Mausoleum, Cherry Hill.
