My Aunt Ruth has always been a pillar of strength. She had a firm but loving way about her. As a little girl, and through my adulthood, she often referred to me as the daughter she never had as she had told me we strongly resemble each other. I had not seen my Aunt Ruth since my mid-teens, until my Dad passed away in 2005. I knew immediately when I saw her what I will look like in 20 years or so. She would come Arizona to visit my Dad, me and my brothers and sisters at Christmas time for many years in row. She absolutely spoiled us with love and always cooked and baked the most wonderful food. I especially remember our walks up to the grocery store together - she would always hold my hand. There are so many things that I could write about her and how she influenced me as a child and an adult but I will touch on my trip that I recently took in JUN-JUL 2008 to see her. Let it be known that she has never changed a thing about her. She is the strong, God loving woman she has been throughout her life and always giving of herself so unselfishly. She will always be in my heart and I hope that I can be the pillar of strength to my family that she has been to me. I love and miss her and I will see her again one day in The House of our Heavenly Father. Sincerely-Terri

My grandma has been the strongest and most capable person I have known. She always gave solid advice, and she always made clear where she stood on matters. She was firm, but compassionate; resolute, yet understanding; she was all of the things to which a strong, independent woman should aspire. Most of all, she was faithful, and her belief in God has, and always will remain steadfast. It defined her more than any other element of her life, yet everything she did was meaningful.

Grandma,
I miss you so much, but I know you are at peace in heaven, and you are watching over every one of us today and forever. Until I see you again… I love you.
