I knew Sarah from Andersons Coffee Shop where she worked. I've been a customer for 40 years. Sarah was so engaging, and even though our association was casual, I will always remember Sarah, the beautiful, brave, and gracious human being that she was. God Bless.

I knew Sarah from youth group at Chapelwood many years ago and she was absolutely delightful and always so pretty. All my love and condolences go to her family. Her mother and dad were always so good to my mom and they were such a good looking and great family. Sarah will be missed.

I didn't know Sarah, only through the words that her sister Amy spoke of her. What a dear and beloved woman. I'm so sorry for her family's loss. I send my love and blessings to all of her family.

I've been buying coffee from Sarah for more years than I can say. We long ago found that we shared a love for Uncle Walt's Band. She was a lovely, lovely person and I am sorry not to be able to see her sweet smile again.

I've never been so sad about the passing of someone I barely knew. I saw Sarah several times a month for 20 coffee-buying years, and she simply made me feel good with her gorgeous, welcoming face and smile. She radiated warmth and kindness. I saw her at a party last year and we had a lovely conversation where we talked of getting together socially in the future. I'm sorry that didn't happen. It's hard to grasp and accept that such a beloved person had to leave so soon. To her family I want to send my condolences and let you know she was adored even by those of us who barely knew her. She lingers in my mind, and I will never ever forget her.

I was shocked to hear about Sarah's passing last week. She was a light in every room she entered - I hope that her memory can be kept alive and that your sadness is replaced with the happiest times you shared together.

My sweet Sarah. Today we celebrate your life. I was the luckiest man in the world to have found you. Thank you for showing me how to love and laugh, and to see the beauty and good in all things. And thank you for two beautiful sons. I will see your face in fields of flowers, your smile in the rising sun, and your laugh in the gentle breeze. I will always love you.

Jack, Ryan, Pat, Amy and Melissa,

I am so sorry to hear about Sarah. Honestly I can hardly believe she's gone. I saw her a few months ago at a bead shop, looking so well, vibrant and beautiful. I was aware of her prognosis but was hoping she had so much more time. I'm sure she fought the battle with all of her might, hoping for more time as well. We will all miss her.

Dear Pat, Ryan and Jack -
Your Sarah never failed to make me smile every time I had a chance to visit with her. I started shopping at Anderson's the year she started working there. We talked about our kids and how my oldest daughter would have been Ryan Patrick had she been a boy. We discovered she went to high school with my sister in law Dornith Doherty. And she brought you all out to a party at our place in Rockne. The world has been left a better place by her love and light. I am deeply grateful to have known her.

Sarah was a beautiful person, always smiling every time I saw her at the coffee store. We have a love of plants in common and Sarah would talk about the different irises she would grow in her garden. My deepest sympathy to her family for the loss of this most lovely soul.

February 21, 2011

My deepest sympathies to Sarah's family. The world is a little less bright in Sarah's absence. It was wonderful to come into Andersons over the past 30 years and encounter that beautiful face and gentle spirit.
