Scott Carney Obituary
Scott was a construction worker before his health declined. He was an avid Cleveland Indians fan. Scott was a member of the Erie Cursillo Movement.
He is survived by his mother and father; two brothers, Thomas J. Carney and his wife, Maria, and Mark Carney; and two nephews, Thomas P. Carney and his wife, Elaine, and Jonathan Carney. In addition, he is survived by his aunts and uncles, Connie and Ron Morgan, Judy and Jim Barabas, Patty Piccola, Veronica Leach, and Bob and Kathy Burch.
Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass on Monday, August 6, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 837 Bartlett Road, Harborcreek, Pa. A Celebration of Life will be held following the Mass at the church hall.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to help cover funeral expenses.
Askins Cremation Funeral Services, 8354 Wattsburg Rd., Erie, PA 16509, is assisting the family with arrangements.

Tom, Mark and Scott's family,
Please accept my most heartfelt sympathy for Scott's passing. It's been more than 30 years since I've seen Scott. Over the years I've thought of him often with fondness, remembering our days as youths. He was certainly a memorable part of my life, shaping me in many ways as a person. I hope that you find comfort in knowing he is now at peace.
