Shalome Cohen Obituary
Beloved husband of Kathleen. Loving father of Helen Sarah and Leslie McLellan (Stewart) and grandfather of Tyler McLellan. Much loved by family and friends near and far. Deeply missed and forever remembered for his warm smile and engaging personality.
Visitation will be held at the Jerrett Funeral Home "North York Chapel," 6191 Yonge Street on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 from 12pm until the time of funeral service in the chapel at 1pm. Interment Westminster Cemetery. Donations in his name may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Dear Kathleen and Helen, I am saddened to hear of Shalome's passing. Our condolences go out to you and the family at this time. Shalome was a wonderful man and was always kind and welcoming when I visited. I will never forget something he told me once- that you cannot live your life in fear of what may happen in the future- live each day to the fullest. This is something I will hold close to my heart always.

I just saw Coke not so long ago, he was there for my mother's funeral and trying to be positive through our loss of our mother. He was one of a kind,his character and wisdom . He will be missed.

Dear Kath and Helen,
I shall always remember him fondly as someone special with a heart of gold. Shalome welcomed me into your home and hearts based on a chance encounter. That warm gesture immediately endeared him to me. He was someone who had the special quality to touch people's hearts through his genuine kindness.
