I think of Shirley every year at this time and what a 'trooper' she was. We were able to talk about all things: and grew up next door at Waskesiu for many years. I'm still in touch with Anna, and hear about Doreen once in awhile. I have been given a saying re loss "Our loved ones are physically gone, but they will be with us forever...." With love to Anna and Doreen and families. Dorell

We are so sorry for your loss. Shirley was a great neighbor to everyone. We will miss seeing her out and about. May God be with your family during this difficult time. You are in our prayers.

Dear Doreen, Anna and your families;
I was just sitting down to send you a card when I thought of looking in the S-P and realized I could e-mail for now. I'll write later.
What a lovely picture and write-up of Shirley. This will be a very traumatic time for you, and my heart goes out to you all! We will certainly miss Shirley at Waskesiu. She had such a good sense of humour, and put up with her health difficulties like a trooper.
