O'LOUGHLIN, Rev. Simon Raphael, C.S.B.
Died at St. Michael's Hospital, Toronto, Ontario on Thursday, March 19, 1998. Born in Ashfield Township, Ontario on May 7, 1916. Son of the late Joseph Bernard and Mary (Griffin) O'Loughlin. Survived by one sister, Mrs. Edward (Margaret) Shea of Southfield, Michigan. Predeceased by sisters and brothers Bernardine Kinney, Noreen Schmidt, Lennon, Norman and Albert O'Loughlin. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Father O'Loughlin entered the Basilian Fathers in 1933 and was ordained in 1942. Served in Detroit, Houston, Lethbridge, Alberta, Mexico City and in the many centres of the Basilian Fathers Missions in the Houston area. Friends may call on Friday, March 20th at the Cardinal Flahiff Basilian Centre, 95 St. Joseph Street, Toronto. Funeral Mass on Saturday, March 21st at 9:30 a.m. in the Chapel of the Cardinal Flahiff Basilian Centre. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Thornhill, Ontario. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Rosar-Morrison Funeral Home, (416) 924-1408.
