Stephen Terry Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jan. 29, 2024.
Our hearts are broken.

In loving memory of Stephen Troy Terry. Troy was born on April 24, 1970 in Murray, UT. He passed away on January 21st , 2024 in Bozeman, MT from multiple health issues.

To say Troy was a skilled carpenter is an understatement. It was who he was down to his core. He deeply missed that creative side of him after an accident in 2018.

Troy loved his family and the gatherings we would have at his childhood home in Holladay. He was always the center of attention with his quick wit and hilarious antics. His humor truly was his trademark. His comedic timing was impeccable, leaving friends and family in stitches on countless occasions. But beneath the humor was his giant heart. Troy had a unique ability to connect with people and was such a light to those he came in contact with. May his legacy be a reminder to find the laughter in life's challenges and the beauty in every moment.

Troy is survived by his parents, Steve and Barbara Terry, siblings Shayne (Shelby) Terry , Stacey (Steve) Thomas, Courtney (Matt) Seal, his children Cameron, Brooklyn, Lexie, step daughters Kaitlyn, and Aspen, numerous nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins who adored him. Also his love and best friend Betty Litschauer, who stood by him and loved and cared for him this last year of his life. We appreciate you Betty more than words can express.

A service will be held on February 17th at 10:30 AM at Dokken-Nelson Funeral Service 113 So Wilson Ave, Bozeman, MT 59715 and a celebration of life will be planned in Utah in the spring.

This is a casual affair, please bring your favorite thoughts, funny moments and memories to share. In lieu of flowers, show a stranger a random act of kindness this week. Troy would LOVE that!
