Steven Badun

BADUN, Steven 1926 - 2006 With great sadness we announce the passing of our dear brother and uncle, Steven Badun at the age of 80 years. He peacefully passed away in his sleep on Monday morning, May 22, 2006.Steven is survived by his two brothers, Walter (Jean) Badun of Vancouver, BC and Mike (Marli) Badun of Calgary, AB; and he will be lovingly remembered by his numerous nieces and nephews. Steven made many close friends at Boardwalk Retirement Community, and over the last three weeks of his life spoke fondly of them. Steven's sense of humour and the love that he had for his family will be greatly missed. The family would like to express their thanks to the staff of Unit 42, Royal Alexandra Hospital and the staff of Unit 43, Grey Nuns Community Hospital for the care and gentleness they showed Steven. A Celebration of Steven's Life will be held on Saturday, May 27 at 11:30 a.m. at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709 - 111 Avenue. Interment in Beechmount Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, memorial donations may be made directly to the Cross Cancer Institute, Alberta Cancer Foundation, 11560 University Avenue, Edmonton, AB T6G 1Z2 or to a charity of their choice.
