I am so sorry for your loss..but find comfort in knowing heaven is much brighter now with a beautiful soul like Suzanne shining down on all of us.I was a caregiver for her at Signature South for her last few months and I feel lucky to have been given the opportunity to give back to her the care and compassion she has shown so many others through out her life in her time of need.

I am so sorry for this great loss. Suzann was my co-worker and friend at OLC in the late 70s and early 80s. She was a dynamite teacher who I often went to for advice in my beginning years of teaching... Suzann never let me down. Her little second graders adored Ms. Duvall; it was so obvious and Suzann adored them back...I have such fond memories of Suzann; Heaven has gained another beautiful soul... love and prayers for all of the family.

Mrs. Duvall taught me and my two sisters and was my favorite teacher EVER! She was warm and loving and truly cared about all of her students. She would even give every student in her class $5 to spend at the school fairs. Truly a woman of God! We are lucky to have been touched by the love of Suzann. Rest in peace beautiful lady.
Sincerely,
Brigette Campbell Eades

Mrs. Duvall was a central person in my growing-up years. I have so many good memories of her and that place called OLC. She reminds me of a much simpler and more innocent time. That's a fine legacy to leave.

Mrs. Duvall was everything a teacher should be. There are so many memories I have of working with her from the catch phrase, "healthy snack", the academic team and saw her in Walmart and some kids saw her running up to her screaming Mrs. Duvall Mrs. Duvall. Dressed up like Strega Nona, made stone soup and came in dressed like a turkey for Thanksgiving. She touched and changed so many lives. She was a woman of faith and beloved by many.
