What a sad day it is for us you left behind; but the music you taught us plays on! You have left an indelible mark on our lives, and as sad as it is that you have moved on, you went as the hero you always were! MYSRIEP!

To Janeth, Hafren, Jordan, Jared, all the grand children and rest of the family: I will always remember my dear friend and colleague Teiron, his warmth, big heart, huge musical talent and open house. He was a fantastic music teacher of my son Nick. He died as he lived - selflessly and sacrificially. May his gentle soul rest in eternal peace.

I worked with Teiron at International School Moshi in Tanzania and remember with fondness the many trips we went on Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru. We stood on Uhuru Peak, the summit of Kilimanjaro, together and shared a tent when the snow came down at Barranco hut. He was someone who always thought of others and never had a bad word to say about anyone. A devoted father and man of great principle he was one of the most genuine people I have ever met. My thoughts are with his family, wife Janeth and children Hafren, Jordan and Jared at this difficult time. May you take comfort in the knowledge that your father was a special person loved by many.
