It is with heavy hearts that the Mastrorocco family announces the peaceful passing of their beloved husband, father, nonno and bis-nonno on June 12, 2016 at the age 91 surrounded by his family. Loving husband to Lucrezia (Narciso) with whom he had celebrated almost 71 years of marriage. Dear father to Rosa Mastrorocco and husband Franco Marchitelli of Italy, Chella and husband Frank Ventura, Cathy (the late Aldo Gatto) and husband Jerry Rocheleau, Costanza and husband Mike Adamo, Vito Mastrorocco and wife Ana Maria Alcantara, Antonietta Borrelli, Nancy and husband David Masotti. Proud nonno to Rocco Marchitelli (Mina), Margherita Marchitelli (Franco Buono), Emanuele Marchitelli, John Ventura (Robbie), Tom Ventura, Tony Ventura (Rosa), Vince Adamo, Rosa Adamo, Lucrezia Adamo, Tom Adamo (Dayna), Paolo Gatto (Patricia), Cristina Lee (Matt), Mariana Mastrorocco, Isabel Mastrorocco, Massimo Borrelli (Elena), Matthew Borrelli, Louis Borrelli, Monica Borrelli, Daniela Masotti (Cristian Hernadez-Sanchez), Stefanie Masotti (fiancé Logan Norris) and Julia Masotti. Cherished bis-nonno to 13 great-grandchildren. Tommaso was born on May 29, 1925 in Acquaviva Delle Fonti, Bari, Italy. He immigrated to Canada in 1970 at the age of 45, to provide his family the opportunity of a better life. He was a hard working man who had very strong work ethics, where he taught his children there were no shortcuts if you wanted to do the job right. Always putting his family first, Tommaso's love and dedication was a tangible expression of how proud he was of his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Tommaso will be dearly missed by everyone who had the opportunity to know him. Visitation at
