February 14, 1923 - January 8, 2012
With deep sadness we announce the passing of our father Valentine (Val) Zurch on
January 8, 2012.
Forever cherished and loved by his children; Henry (Sylvia), Valerie Wissinger (Frank) and Barry, grandchildren; Tom (Sandra), Sheri (Scott), Cathy (George), Lori (Justin), Sandra (Paul), Kymberly, Dena, Tylaine (Danny), David (Holly), and his great-grandchildren Kaylie, Amanda, Tasana, Kenneth, Scott, Alysa, Brooklynne, Seth, Kiana, Ethan,
Aria, Emma, Liam, and Robbie. Lovingly remembered by his sister Carrie Homeniuk, sister-in-law Doreen Henry, and lifelong friend Vandy Koshure as well as many other friends and family. Predeceased by his loving wife Margaret in 2003, his parents and
six brothers.
Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Friday January 13, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. at South Side Memorial Chapel (8310-104 Street, Edmonton). Memorial donations in memory of Val may be made to the Salvation Army.

I am so sorry to hear of your dad/brother/grandfather's passing. My heartfelt sympathy and prayers are with you all. I will always fondly remember him the times I was with him.
He was a gentle , kind man, that is what I will remember.

Sorry to hear of your dad's(our Uncle) passing .Our heart felt sympathy goes out to you Henry, Valarie And Barry.we are sorry we are unable to attend as we are in Arizona. We will remember him as the helper and friend to our father's (Fred & Dolf) when they were all painters.

I met Val at McQueen Place Seniors Lodge and thought he was a really nice man. I was sad to see him leave the lodge but thought he might need extra care. My heart goes out to the family.
