I send my deepest sympathy to you Joan and your family with so many happy memories of your time here at the Springs and also our time visiting you at Qualicum Beach several years ago and the very hospitable time we had in your beautiful home there.
Take strength from your beautiful family and reflect on all the wonderful memories and years you had together. My love and prayers are with you at this sad time.

You have my thoughts and prayers Joan. I used to play tennis with you at the Springs Country Club. My sympathy to you and the family. I have lost two husbands. Not fun. Your faith will get you through each day. Sincerely, Sue Turner

I worked for this fine company. I never met Victor, but I thank him for the job I had.

To the MacLean family,
My husband, Paul Coté, often reflected on the wonderful times he had as a child at your summer home in Qualicum Beach. He reminisced about the benevolent, thoughtful, kind, stimulating, generous nature of his Uncle Vic and hoped Uncle Vic knew how much those moments meant to him. THANK YOU for making a positive contribution to a small boy's life! Our thoughts are with your family.

Dewye - My sincere sympathies, a wonderful man and boss. I was his secretary in 1970's & 1990's. Left to work for church and came back to him in 1999

Condolences to the MacLean family. I have very fond memories from my youth spent in Qualicum and still when I walk past Ten Firs, I remember fondly the best (loudest and fastest) boat on the water ~ Boban ~ tennis on Sunday mornings, horseback riding on the beach and float plane Fridays.
What a lovely long life, may you find peace in his memory.

I am terribly sorry to read this. I have many good memories of him from Qualicum Beach; of course, as we were then children however, he certainly 'commanded respect!'
My thoughts are with the MacLean and Parker families.

Sincere Condolences to Dewey Parker and all of the MacLean Families in the loss of Victor MacLean. Such a social and enterprising history, following British Columbia's economic development in an important period of growth and change. Peace be with you.
