Vladyslav Mitrenko Obituary

SELINSGROVE - Vladyslav Mitrenko, 19, of 412 W. Pine St., passed away at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 3, 2008, as a result of an accidental drowning in the Susquehanna River.
He was born Sept. 13, 1988, in Simferopol, Ukraine, a son of Valeriy and Maryna (Timchenko) Mitrenko of Simferopol.
Vladyslav was in the United States for the summer working for Rowe Line Construction. He was due to enter his fourth year at Tavrida National University at Simferopol, where he was majoring in management and tourism.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, is one brother, Alexander Mitrenko of Philadelphia; paternal grandmother, Valentina Mitrenko and maternal grandmother, Olga Timchenko, both of Ukraine.
Visitors may call from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the V.L. Seebold Funeral Home, 601 N. High St., Selinsgrove, where the funeral will follow at 2 p.m. with Susquehanna University chaplin, the Rev. Mark Radecke, and the Rev. Nikolay Mironenko officiating.
Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Freeburg.
