May he Rest in Eternal Peace. He was a wonderful man and a GREAT Legionnaire. He and Judy donated countless hours of service to Kirby Stewart Post #24 and the local veterans community. Walt epitomized what a Legionnaire represents. Selfless service to his community, state and nation. I salute you.

My thoughts are with you. Take one day at a time. Even though you think you are prepared, it is still a shock! You both were so kind when we joined IMG many years ago. You took great care of Walt, up to the end..... A wonderful wife for an extraordinary man.

Linda, I am so saddened to hear of Walter's passing. I will always remember the friendship and kindnesses he extended to me when I worked at Kirby Stewart Post 24. He will be missed. RIP Friend
