To Perry's Family:
My condolences to each of you for your loss. Perry always held a "special" place in my heart. I have so many cherished memories of Perry throughout his teenage years and what a wonderful person he was. Perry meant so much to Richard, I know the two of them are reminiscing in heaven right now. Perry will be truly missed by everyone he touched. My thoughts are with each of you at this time. May all your Treasured Memories bring you comfort.

Ms. Holman and family. I knew Perry through racing, and we met many years a go at Columbus (Ms.) Speedway, and of course we had a few chats at TST. I want you and family to know that he was a very special guy to my wife and me. Perry and us had many good times together at the cookouts we had at Columbus Speedway, and those fun times will forever be remembered. I want to express my/ours deepest sympathy and heartfelt sadness to you all for the loss of the great man that we all knew. I want to say now, May the Lord be with you and family during the sad time, and our thoughts and prayers will be with you. God bless you all, and RIP Brother Perry! We'll miss you dearly!

To the Perry Family and TST Family, I’m truly sorry for your loss. May you turn to God during this time of grief; in HIM will you find your strength to carry you through. I just started to attend races at TST this year and have attended many short tracks over the years but Mr. Perry was the best announcer or “VOICE OF THE TRACK” I have ever heard. May God be with you.

Mr. Perry, or punkin, should I say since thats what you called me from the time I was 8 years old. I'm really going to miss you and miss that "voice", Talladega will never be the same and no one will ever take your place in that booth!!! I am so glad I got the chance to know you and the family and to grow up around you. You were like a second father to me and you believed in me and my racing. It is such a great thing to know that someone as special as you got to watch and annouce my whole racing career, even though when I started racing my open wheel you didn't call many of my races because you, like a father, was too nervous to watch. I want to thank you for always being there for me, like two years ago when my brother died or last year when daddy had his open heart done, you came to let mother and I know what to expect when dad was coming out of surgery. Most importantly thanks for always believeing in me and my racing. I love you and the whole family so much. I know God is glad your home where you have no pains and you can walk by his side and wait for us to get there. Glad your home, Glad your home!!

Always with love,
Your punkin,
Courtney A. Parker #46
