Walter B. Pennington

Walter B Pennington, 99, entered into rest on Sept. 13, 2017, at Phoenix, AZ. Beloved husband of the late Thelma W. Pennington for ( ) years, until her passing on August 21, 2017; dear father of Linda (Gary) Young and Tanya (David) Parker; dear grandfather of Jenny Green, Suzy Geiger and Sharon Cantu, and great-grandfather of 9. A man of many interests, Walter served in the Army Air Corps, in WWII, was a Ham Radio operator, and was a Jet Propulsion Engineer. Other interests were serving on the San Juan Capistrano Chamber of Commerce, glass blowing, landscaping design and his affiliation the Masonic Order, serving as a Master Mason in Hamilton, OH. He attempted scuba diving until a previous back injury prevented him from pursing that further. Services will be held 9:30 AM, Monday, Sept. 18, 2017, at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek, @ Pinnacle Peak Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85024
