Hi – I’m Larry Martins younger brother Jack. Warren and Larry were good friends, Larry having taught Distributive Education and work experience (DECA) at Grossmont High and Warren taught the same courses at Mt. Miguel High. Some 40 years ago Larry’s 13 year old son Randy was struck on his bicycle on Fletcher Parkway and Amaya. Warren took charge, made all the arrangements for his funeral, had the service at the same Church were Warrens services are now held. They even took Larry and his Wife Virginia in to their home while they recovered from their grief over the loss of their son.
I found Warren and his wife Inez to be gentle caring people with a lot of compassion. They were there for my brother when he needed help. Please find comfort in your loss knowing the wonderful memories you have of your father and mother. Larry passed away three years ago from a heart attack while playing softball in La Mesa. I’m glad he had such a good friend as Warren.

I was in Mr Bellows work experience program in 1969, my senior year. He was such an inspiration, a great man and teacher. What fond memories. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.
