WILLIAM GOODHART Obituary
Howard, Lord Goodhart QC, on 10th January 2017, aged 83, of Alzheimer's. He died peacefully surrounded by family. Beloved husband of Celia, father of Fanny, Laura and Benjie and devoted brother of Charles and the late Sir Philip. Much-loved- grandfather of Josie, Beatrice, Kitty, Matthew, Kenny, Fletcher, Fred and Elsie and cherished father-in-law, brother-in-law and uncle. Lord Goodhart was also the grandson of the late Hattie Lehman Goodhart, the grandnephew of the late Herbert H. Lehman, former Governor and Senator from New York, the son of the late Professor Arthur Lehman Goodhart, the Master of University College, Oxford and a cousin to former District Attorney Robert Morgenthau of New York. Private family funeral and a memorial gathering later in the year. No flowers please.
