William Hickling Obituary
(1940-2017)
Hickling, William A., age 76 was born in Cleveland, Ohio on December 9, 1940. He entered Heaven's Gate on October 7, 2017. William known as Bill to those who knew him best was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Great- Grandfather. Bill was a stubborn man who enjoyed his good old cup of Chase and Sanborn Coffee and loved the roar of a Strong American Engine. Bill was adored by his loving wife and children. He worked as a Mechanic, Tow Truck Driver and Owned a Moving Company. Bill was a US Navy Veteran.
William was predeceased in death by parents William and Ruth Polland-Hickling, brother David Hickling, Grandson Greggory McCullar, Sister in Laws Betty Bowles and Luella Dunaway, Nieces Patricia (Pat) Brosnatch, Susan Payne, Karen Dunnaway.
He is survived by wife Joan Hickling, Son Billy (Butch) Hickling (wife Demetria Cousineau), Daughter Fonna (Peg) Hickling (Husband Todd Bartlett), Son Guy Hickling (wife Karen Hickling), Granddaughter Stephanie (Nikki) Greenhalgh (husband Joshua (Josh) Greenhalgh, Sandra (Sandy) Pettry, Hillary Hickling, Grandsons Christopher Cousineau, Arron Cousineau, Paul Hickling (girlfriend Brenna Patrick), Great -Grandson's Clayton Connell, Rian Pettry, Jusdon Davis-Francis, Kyle Valerio-Hickling, Quinn Cousineau, Dedrick Valerio, Great-Grandaughters Patricia (PJ) Pettry, Davana Cipolla, Olivia (Breezy) Hickling, Joslynn Cousineau, Sister Mary Brennan (husband Ronald Brennan), Brother in Law's Albert Bowles, Billy Bowles ( wife Sally Bowles) and Nieces Jill Brennan, Kimberly (wife Ridge) Holdridge, Kimberly Arganti, Kathleen Bowles- Bowman, Sharon Dahms, Cathe Pearson (husband Dwayne, Paitence, Elzada and Zayn) and Nephews Michael Bowles, Glen Dunnaway, Steven Dunnaway, Harry Reger and Brian Reger. And many more loved ones.
Visitation will be at Shadow Mountain Mortuary, 2350 E. Greenway Road, Phoenix, AZ 85023 on Sunday, October 15, 2017 from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm with the Funeral service to start at 2:00 pm.

You were a different kinda Uncle. You were around when I was young. I enjoyed spending time with you and Aunt Joan. Although to most of Luella's children it was always Joan and Bill. Our families hung out and we were able to play with the cousins. I remember Mom ,Ralph and y'all riding the motorcycle then you got hurt. I remember Fidgets Nugget. I am sorry that life got in the way and we lost touch. You and Aunt Joan will always have a special place in my heart. R.I.P give my love to the rest. You will be missed.

Words can't express how sorry I am for the loss of your Father. Many laughs, visits, memories I have of visiting both Uncle Bill and Aunt Joan. I will miss him greatly. My prayers and lots of hugs and Love go out to each of you.
