William Huntley Obituary
BIDDEFORD - William E. Huntley, 70, of Main Street, passed away Dec. 5, 2016, at his residence.
He was born in Portland, May 25, 1946, the son of William and Erma Pinkum Carter.
He attended local schools and later served in the U.S. Army. After his service to his country, he returned to Maine and was a taxi driver for many years.
He is survived by five daughters, Kelly Burnham, Bobbi Jo Burnham, Billie Jo Lovejoy, Heather Huntley and Rebecca Nye; brothers, Larry Don Hayes, Forrest Hayes, Bruce Hayes, Adam Flaherty, and stepbrother, Francis Huntley; sisters, Mercedes O'Malley, Luann Lovely, Heidi McGovern, and stepsisters Nancy Huntley and Linda Davis; his ex-wife Sharon Shepard; and his best friend, Ralph Shepard, whom he called Dad.
A graveside service with military honors will be held Friday, Dec. 16, 2016, at 10 a.m. at the Maine Veterans Cemetery (new section) in Augusta.
