William Turner Obituary
William R. Turner III (Robin), age 55, lost his 3-year battle against lung cancer on July 1st, 2015 in St. Petersburg, FL. His loving wife, Laurie was at his side.
Robin was born in Milton, FL on February 18, 1960 and moved to Tallahassee at the age of 3. He graduated from Godby High School in Tallahassee in 1978. He received training in Aircraft and Power Plant and worked as an Aircraft Mechanic for Life Flight and Piedmont Airlines for a time. He spent 2 years in St. Croix, VI, and in recent years was employed by a large mechanical company building hospitals. He worked variously as a Foreman, a Superintendent, and coordinator of space for infrastructures.
Robin was predeceased by his father, William (Bill) Turner. He is survived by his wife, Laurie of St. Petersburg, FL; his mother, Levena (Kit) Turner of Tallahassee; his sister Karen Hodges (Larry Earp) of Clearwater, FL; his brother Brian Turner (Nancy) of Imperial Beach, CA; and his niece, Lt. Marina Turner of the Coast Guard.
A celebration of life was held in St. Petersburg on July 4th, 2015.

So sorry to hear of Robin's battle and passing. He was a sweet friend in highschool and I will be forever grateful for the time we spent together. My thoughts and prayers for the family.
