Yvette Roberts

Yvette Roberts, 38, of Groesbeck passed away Sept. 29, 2007, in a Waco hospital after a brief illness. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 2, in the First Baptist Church of Groesbeck with the Rev. Tracy Sims officiating. Burial will follow in Faulkenberry Cemetery. Yvette was born Aug. 26, 1969, in Marlin. She was raised in Groesbeck where she attended public schools. She graduated in 1987 and went on to attend MCC and later TSTC where she earned her dental assistant certification. Yvette was employed at Today's Family Dental at the time of her passing. Yvette was a beautiful fun loving person. She was an inspiration to all her family and friends. She had a contagious smile that would brighten even the worst of days. She loved her family, nieces and nephews, friends and her dog Muggsy. Yvette was also a big NASCAR fan with Dale Earnhard, Jr. being her favorite driver. We will always carry you in our hearts and never forget your laughter. Goodbye Yvette. Yvette is survived by her parents, Luis and Mary Chapa of Groesbeck; brother, Luis M. Chapa of Groesbeck; aunts and uncles, Bill and Josie Roberts of Corsicana, Jose and Faye Frias of Waco, Jesse and Maria Morales of San Antonio and George and Susie Ramirez of San Antonio; niece, Viotoria Chapa of Groesbeck; nephew, Gavin Carpenter also of Groesbeck; cousins, Gloria Morales of Waco, Gabriel Morales of Dallas, Rob and Mellissa Strange of San Antonio, Luigi and Cynthia Corba of Roverado, Min Pinao Italy, Christopher Morales of San Francisco, Calif., Anthony Morales of Bellville, Ill., Jeanetta Williams of Arizona, and Marco and Shelley Morales; as well as many others.
