OTTAWA –Jeff A. Schulte, 53, of Ottawa, died at 11:16 p.m. on Sunday, January 24, 2021 at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay. He was born on February 1, 1967 in Bluffton to the late Alvin and Eleanor (Siefker) Schulte. On November 30, 1991 he married Pam Utrup, she survives in Ottawa.
Jeff is also survived by five sons: Brice (Samantha) Schulte of Pandora, Brady (Kayla) Schulte of New Cleveland, Brett Schulte, Brennan Schulte, and Brandt Schulte, all at home; one grandchild on the way; brothers and sisters: Tim (Cindy) Schulte of Ottawa, Kathy (Doug) Diller of South Carolina, Judy (Tom) Wischmeyer, Ken (Betsy) Schulte, both of Ottawa, Jan (Dan) Karhoff of Pandora, Keith (Kathy) Schulte and Dan Schulte, both of Ottawa; step-mother: Maxine Schulte of Ottawa; and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Jeff was a lifelong farmer. He was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa.
Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa with Father Scott Kramer officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. In keeping with the social distancing guidelines, a visitation will be held Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa. Masks will be required upon entering the funeral home and church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Putnam County CAP or a charity of the donor's choice.
