LARRY DUNLAP
CAIRO — Larry A. Dunlap, 79, died at 6:00 pm, Sunday, April 9, 2017, at Kindred Hospital, Lima, Ohio. He was born February 6, 1938, near Columbus Grove, Ohio, to Alvin H. "Jim" and Grace E. (Welty) Dunlap. They both preceded him in death.
He had been married to Jackie Fruchey, and she preceded him in death in 1988.
Larry is survived by two daughters: Becky (Randy) Danser and Robin Lane; four grandsons: Jeromie Lane, Decker Lane, Scott Danser and Jason Danser; and two sisters: Gloria (Marlin) Amstutz and Judy (William) McKee, and several nieces and nephews.
He was a graduate of Columbus Grove High School, class of 1956. Larry served in the U. S. Army and the National Guard. He had worked for and retired from Columbus Grove Grain and Elevator. He was also a life long farmer. Larry was a member of the NRA, Loyal Order of Moose, Lodge #144, Lima, and was a frequent patron at Denny's at the Beaverdam Truck Plaza. Larry had a favorite pet, Brandy, his little four-legged rescue dog.
Services will begin at 11:00 am, Saturday, April 15, 2017, at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove. Pastor Rich Rakay will officiate, with burial at a later date.
Friends may call from 2:00-4:00 & 6:00-8:00pm, Friday, April 14, 2017, at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Red Cross.

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Larry; yet another pal from the Class of '56.
Am out of State, so unable to greet the family, but want everyone to know our sympathy is heartfelt.
Many tears are flowing. RIP.
