MICHAEL FRIEDMAN Obituary

FRIEDMAN--Michael. UJA-Federation of New York mourns the passing of our dear friend Michael Friedman, beloved husband of Carole. Michael epitomized longtime involvement with UJA-Federation, as his exemplary leadership and extraordinary generosity began in college and continued throughout his life. Michael was passionate about helping the next generation of philanthropists, and together with Carole he created the Michael & Carole Friedman Philanthropic Advisory Council for Teens program in UJA's Center for Youth Philanthropy. Michael's legacy will live on through the continuing efforts of his family and the work of the countless teens he has helped to inspire. He will be deeply missed. We extend our heartfelt condolences to Carole, his children Debbie Cooper (Mark), Jonathan, and Lisa, his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and the entire family. Amy A. B. Not only was Mickey generous by gifting to the UJA, he was generous in spirit and rich in humor. Our fondest memories are times we spent with Mickey and Carole. May he Rest In Peace in the arms of God. Our sympathy and condolences to the family.
