I write this with a very heavy heart. I go WAY back with the wonderful Simmons´ family and have known them I believe most of my 63 years since Mrs. Russler days! Ron and I were fast friends; he always had a quick smile, something funny to say, an optimistic attitude, the kind of person we strive to be. We played lots of baseball and kickball together with all of the neighborhood! We walked to and from Horace Mann Elementary together many days (I think we knew the principal) and on to West Junior High. As we grew older our paths did not cross nearly as often as I had wished.
I hope for a peaceful journey into his next adventure and hope it´s full of fun and laughter.
To Mrs. Simmons and Nancy, may knowing how much he was loved AND liked bring you some peace in the days to come. I will miss that wonderful laugh of his.
