Robert Matheson Obituary
He is survived by his wife of 25 year's Brenda Matheson. He leave's behind his only son Mark Browning Matheson (wife Sherrie), grandson; Joshua Browning Matheson (wife Kaileen) and only granddaughter Lauren E. Matheson.
Step daughter Kristina Kapitan and grandson's Noah Combs and Connor Hixson. Nephew's; Paul Matheson (Tracy) and Peter Matheson, plus many, many other family members, and good friends.
He was preceded in death by his parent's; Ludwell and Eunice Matheson, his brother David Matheson, and his wife Murietta.
Brownie was a brilliant business man who along with his first wife founded Matheson Trucking, Inc., that was turned over in the 90's and is now being run by his son Mark Matheson and his children Joshua and Lauren Matheson.
In 1993 Brownie and his wife Brenda moved to Lockeford,Ca and started Matheson Ranch, Livestock and Orchards.
In 2013 Brownie was awarded "CATTLEMEN OF THE YEAR" by the San Joaquin Stanislaus Cattlemen Association.
Brownie worked very hard and was known for his generosity, integrity and love of life, but mostly for his love of Jesus Christ our Savior.
A "Celebration of Life" will be held sometime late summer, and will be announced in the newspaper, and by invitations.
Memorial Contributions may be made to; San Joaquin Hospice of Stockton or a charity of the donor's choice.

Brownie was more of a friend than a patient, not to mention one of our favorites. We will miss serving him coffee and the spunk and joy he brought to our office. He is truly missed, but we celebrate his NEW life in heaven!
