CORNELIA LOPEZ

Cornelia Lopez nee (Callahan), of Keyport, NJ, was born on April 13, 1939 passed away on September 2, 2006. She was 67 years old. Cornelia was formerly of Stony Point, NY. Cornelia's greatest joy came from spending time with her family. She was a friend to many. Cornelia was the type of person that would offer the world to anyone who asked of her. She will be sorely missed by those who knew her. She is survived by her devoted husband of 46 years, Ben; daughters: Stephanie Campbell and her husband Chris, of Stony Point, NY, Vanessa Eybers, of Sloatsburg, NY, Susan Bernich and her husband Frank, of Hazlet, NJ, Maureen Lavelle and her husband Myles, of Acworth, GA, and Nancy Racquet and her husband Michael, of Raleigh-Durham, NC. She is also survived by five adoring grandchildren: Holly, Alex, Brandon, Patrick and Breanne. Besides her husband she will be missed by three brothers: Robert, James and Neil Callahan. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 5, at 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm, at the Laurel Funeral Home in Hazlet, NJ. A Mass of the Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday, September 6, at 9:30 am at the Holy Family Catholic Church on Rt. 36 in Hazlet, NJ.
