FRANK PASSARELLA Obituary

Frank Passarella, of White Plains, died Tuesday, September 19, 2006 after a long illness. He was born on January 14, 1920 in White Plains. He was the son of the late Nancy and Michael Passarella. He was an auto mechanic for all of his life. He served in the Army during WWII in the 752nd Tank Battalion in Cormons (Italy). It was there where he met his wife Fedora. She survives him. Frank and Fedora had two children, Michael and his wife Kathy (Bassett) and Patricia and husband Willy Raum. He has two grandchildren, Kyle and Jeffrey. He is survived by his brother Michael and sister Millie Rovello. His brother Patsy and a sister Mary died earlier. He is survived by several nieces and nephews. Frank was a devoted husband and father. We will miss him dearly. Since his illness Frank was a resident at the New York State Veterans Home at Montrose. His family would like to thank the entire staff for the exceptional loving care they gave him. A special thanks to Sonia Paredes his primary caregiver. Visitation will be Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at McMahon, Lyon & Hartnett Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial, Friday, at 10:30 AM at St. John's. Interment to follow at Mount Calvary. In lieu of flowers, the family requests all donations to be made to the New York State Veterans Home at Montrose, attn: Nancy Baa-Danso, 2090 Albany Post Road, Montrose, NY 10548 "In Memory of Frank Passarella".
