Jean Vaughan Obituary
Family and friends mourn the loss of Jean Brenda Vaughan.
Jean, who was lovingly called "Noonie," passed away March 18 at the North Mississippi Medical Center Nursing Home in Europa, Miss. at the age of 93.
Beloved wife of Leslie. Cherished mother survived by her three sons Christopher, Stephen and Jonathan. Adored grandmother survived by seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Devoted daughter and dear sister to three siblings.
From her unparalleled wisdom to acts of life-changing kindness, those who encountered Jean, recall a paramount role model.
Jean was born in Manchester, England on Feb. 28, 1922 to parents Sidney and Dorothy Gray. Jean and Leslie emigrated from England to Mount Vernon, New York in mid-1950's. The couple established a strong foundation and raised three sons. In the 1980's, they relocated to South Carolina. Happiness followed the pair. Jean and Leslie became U.S. citizens in 1995.
