Tuckahoe - Joseph R. Marinello, Jr., 86, of Tuckahoe died on July 23, 2018. Beloved husband of the late Anna Maria Marinello, to whom he was married to for 60 years. Loving father of Joseph (Marjut) Marinello, III, and Michael (Patricia) Marinello. Cherished grandfather of Jonathan, Corinna, Grace, and the late Joseph Martin Marinello. Dear brother of the late Josephine, Caroline, Gloria and Joan.

He served in the US Army during the Korean War. He served for over 20 years as the chairman of the Board of Police Commissioners for the Village of Tuckahoe. During his tenure as advertising executive, Joe won many awards. The one he cherished the most is a National award from NACON, which is the newspaper advertising Co-op network. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, the VFW Post 2285 Eastchester, and an usher at Assumption Church, his lifetime parish. JR will be most remembered for his immaculate yard and garden, and was very proud to share his fresh vegetables with his family and friends. JR, dad, grandpa, Joe, will be truly missed.

The family will receive friends at the WESTCHESTER FUNERAL HOME, INC. EASTCHESTER Thursday, July 26, 2018, 2-4 & 6-9 pm. Mass, Friday July 27, 2018 at 9:30 am at Immaculate Conception Church, Tuckahoe. Interment to follow at Holy Mount Cemetery.
