KATHERINE BYRNES GLEASON

Born in New York City on January 8, 1911 to the late Hugh and Mary Walsh Byrnes. Beloved wife of the late Thomas Matthew, loving mother of Mary Ann Gleason O'Neill and William D. O'Neill, James D. and Margaret H. Gleason and the late Thomas Francis (Mary Haugh). Devoted grandmother of Erin O'Neill DiMarco (Dominic), William Richard O'Neill (Linda Eick), Margaret Gleason Hamm (Joseph), Christopher Thomas O'Neill, Thomas Matthew Gleason II (Melissa Moccio) and Cathlin Gleason Boncardo (Roberto). Devoted great grandmother of Lauren Katherine, Katherine MacKenzie and Kelly Ann O'Neill and Gabriella Rose Gleason. Sister of John Byrnes (Virginia) and the late Mary Byrnes and Helen Connolly. Fondly and lovingly cared for by Ernestine Lewis. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Calling hours at The Fred H. McGrath & Son Funeral Home, Bronxville, between the hours of 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Sunday. Mass of Christian Burial at Sts. Peter and Paul Church, Fleetwood, NY, on Monday, March 10, at 10 am.
