Kenneth Webb Obituary

Kenneth Ray Webb, 74, passed away July 11, 2015 after a short illness at Select Solutions, Charleston, WV.
He was born February 6, 1941 in Paradise, WV, son of the late Hiram and Arnie Webb of Liberty, WV. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Arlene (Hubert) Hammack and brother James (Vernice) Webb.
Kenneth attended WV State College and graduated from the WV State Police Academy. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police. He retired from the Nitro Police Department as Chief of Police with 16 years of service. He was also formerly employed at WV Steel Co., and the Kanawha County Board of Education.
Ken was a Christian and was baptized at Grace Baptist Temple where he was a former member.
He is survived by his wife Debra of 35 years, their daughters Nicole (Mark) Bowling, Tina (Steve) Johnson, grandchildren, Daniel, Brooke, Zachary Johnson and two great-grandchildren all of Fairmont, WV. He is also survived by brothers, Arby (Ruth) Webb of Winfield, WV, Billy (Sharon) Webb of Liberty, WV, brother-in-law Victor Bonnett of St. Albans, and Mother and Father-in-law James and Linda Bonnett of Nitro, WV.
A service to celebrate Ken?s life will held at 11:00 am Friday, July 17, 2015 at Cooke Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor H. B. White, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Thursday at Cooke Funeral Home, 2002 20th St., Nitro.
