RUTH BOLSON Obituary
BOLSON, RUTH ANN (DILLON)Heaven now has another angel. Ruth Ann Bolson (Dillon) was born on January 4th, 1935 taken from her pain at the age of 69 on December 31, 2004 with her husband and her family by her side holding her hand at home in Port St. Lucie, Florida. Ruth spent the last 5 years in Florida, prior to that the she lived in Spring Valley NY. Ruth grew up in Rockland Lake, NY and met her husband of 47 years in 1951. Ruth married Sidney Bolson on June 29th, 1957. They were always together as a symbol of all love should be. For many happy years and many happy times, Sid took care of her as she always did with everyone else along the way. Blessed mother to Ray and Robin Bolson of West Nyack, NY, Robert and Cherie Bolson of North Carolina, Lawrence Bolson of Spring Valley, Steven Bolson and Marianne Hermann of Port St. Lucie, Florida, Patricia Bolson and Stephen Robinson of Hawthorne, NJ. She was much loved by her three grandchildren: Stefanie Pirozzolo 13, Alyson Pirozzolo 12 and Jesse Bolson 10 as well as all of her step grandkids. Ruth is one of 13 children born to Catherine and William Dillon. She is predeceased by her sisters: Adelaide Begbie, Caroline Dillon, Arlene Pavese and her brother, Robert Dillon. Survived by brothers and sisters Catherine McLeod, Richard Dillon, John Dillon, William Dillon, Margaret Starkey, Patricia Metress, James Dillon, Anne Blanke and many many nieces and nephews. Ruth touched so many lives along her path in life, she always had a warm heart, a kind word and a smile for every one along the way. Ruth raised many children over the years as she did child care in the home so she could be home to raise her children. She will be dearly missed by all the people who knew and loved her so dearly. The family will be following her wishes of cremation in Florida with a Memorial Service to follow on Sunday, January 16th, 2005 at the Rockland Hook and Ladder Fire Company on Main Street, Spring Valley NY from 12 noon to 5pm. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to Hospice of Port St. Lucie, Florida or the Rockland Hook and Ladder Company, Spring Valley, NY in the memory of Ruth Ann Bolson.
