Vladimir Sotnikov Obituary

Lincoln resident Vladimir Sotnikov Jr., 39, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2013 in Lincoln, Nebraska.


Private family services will be held at a later date.


Memorials may be given to his family.


Vladimir was born June 22, 1973 in Russia, the son of Vladimir and Svetlana (Marchenko) Sotnikov Sr. He moved to the United States with his family and graduated from Gresham High School in Portland, Oregon with the class of 1991 and moved to Lincoln in 1997. Vladimir loved working and fixing up cars, he did custom work including air brushing. He was a very kind and giving person with a warm heart.


Vladimir is survived by his two sons, Nicholas, and Andrew; parents, Vladimir and Svetlana Sotnikov Sr. of Spokane, Washington; three sisters, Luba Maksimov and her husband Max of Burnsville, Minnesota, Angela Romanyuk and her husband Eugene of Spokane, Washington, and Kristina Sotnikov of Spokane, Washington; and three nephews, Maxim Jr., Elijah, and Tony.
