Ann was my mothers best friend throughout life and I consider her a dear friend as well... I have many memories of lunches together and shopping, we shared a love for collecting. I will always remember her German gnome collection and how fascinating it was to me. She was so proud of her German heritage and loved everything German..... In later years when driving became more difficult for them. I was the official driver.. I referred to it as "Driving the Daisies".. It was during this time that I got close to Ann and shared many conversations over our outings together.. Ann, Mom and Betty Barker called themselves the three muskateers. It was such a blessing for me to watch and partake in their long friendship together..My last special memory was at my garden tea party with the Daisies. It was so special to all of us and the last time we would all be together..I am so thankful I got the chance to know Ann well.. She was a lovely, thoughtful lady with a wealth of wisdom. I am assured she is with Jesus enjoying his presence and receiving her reward for her faithfulness... My prayers remain with her beloved family for strength and courage as you say goodbye to your wonderful Mom and Grandmother. May your precious memories sustain you always... Kathi Green Carney

Ann and I have been friends since childhood. We went to school at Ahrens together. My memories of Ann's mother and her delicious German cooking was a talent that Ann inherited. I remember many evenings at Ann's home sharing her delicious German dinners..We went every year to the german festival and had such a wonderful time.. She and I shared treasured memories together. She was a beautiful , talented seamtress and made my wedding dress for me which I have always cherished... We took many bus trips and enjoyed our senior years sharing New Years Eve together each year and thanking God for another year of friendship... I loved Ann very much and will miss her greatly... The memories of our good times together will be forever close to my heart. My prayers go out to the family at this time you will always remain special in my heart.. ..While Ann beat me to heaven, I look forward to the day we will meet again on that beautiful shore sharing eternity with our Lord......Thank you Ann for your love and devoted friendship throughout the years..

Dear Kathie & David - I am so sorry to see that your Mother has passed away. I think of you guys often and hope you are doing well. Losing a loved one is never easy but especially at Christmas (which is when I lost my Dad and husband!) and no matter what time of year, it is never easy to lose your Mother. You will all be in my prayers.
